This webinar was organized by UN Environment Programme and MedWet, with the contribution of the Ramsar Convention. Its objective is to provide an overview of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) for wetland managers and policymakers on the issues but also on the guidance note available to them for incorporating DRR in wetlands management plans.

Meticulously cared for by local families, these interconnected pools undergo a natural evaporation process, resulting in high-quality sea salt crystals. These shallow rectangular pools, resembling a giant checkerboard, are carved into the limestone and filled with seawater.
