The “Marine Protected Area Contract: governance in action” course was developed within the project Interreg Med TUNE UP with the aim to provide an overview of the MPA Contract methodology for students, researchers, practitioners and MPAs managers and technicians. The Architecture Department of UNIROMA3, with the contribution of the project partners developed this open online course available on the Roma Tre University platform upon user registration.
The economics of nature-based solutions: opportunities for Mediterranean coastal wetlands — #1/3
During this webinar, the concept of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and the purpose of assessing the economics of those solutions through a cost-benefit analysis were introduced. The webinar showed the link between Ecosystem Services provision and Nature-based-Solutions implementation and how it is key to bring conservation practitioners and policy-decision makers together to improve nature preservation in ecological and economic planning.
